Philipians 3:18-19.....(for many walk, of whom i have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is their shame, who mind earthly things.) there are many in our day looking for divine help for the sake of prosperity. Who are their models? If not those already rich. From whom they see what is new in all walks of life, that is to say, in dressing, in technologies, in becoming civilised as the world dictates. So, many who feel left out and even those who wouldn't want to fall from their positions in society. Become worried and seek divine support to maintain or to grow into living lives conformed to this world. Their seeking God is caused by their cravings in their flesh. Everything done by such individuals doesn't go anywhere beyond the veil of their flesh. Hence, their God is their belly etc,
